Brand new Sparco racing shoes are on our online store for the first time. The whole Sparco shoe range has been updated for 2022, and the existing shoes now show their current FIA approvals, information and images.
The one we are most pleased about is the Sparco X-Light Plus, with its high sock design and some eye-catching colours.

Our entry level Sparco picks
Race shoes are required in most motorsport events. They have a flame retardant lining and a thin, grippy sole for control of the pedals.

The Sparco Slalom in the showroom
The Sparco Slalom in black is on display in our showroom, ready to try on, send out or collect. Three more colours are on our online store.
It has soft suede uppers with Sparco embroidery and a leather insole for comfort. The slim rubber sole resists oil and fuel, and it has anti-slip and anti-static properties for good control of the pedals.

The new Skid and Skid Plus
The Skid and Skid Plus are new Sparco boots designed to the latest FIA homologation, with higher heat and flame resistance. Abrasion resistant inserts at the sides and heel protect the foot and help the boot last longer, and the flame retardant lining is breathable.
Both have an overlapping tongue, leather side inserts and Kevlar lace loops. The difference is underfoot: the Skid Plus has a shock absorbing, anti-vibration sole, while the Skid has a thin rubber sole with a grip texture.
The Sparco X-Light Plus
At the top of the range, the X-Light Plus is made from very supple kangaroo leather mixed with synthetic leather, which makes it light and comfortable. It meets FIA 8856-2018.
It is the first Sparco boot without a tongue. An elasticated sock inside takes its place, giving a closer and more comfortable fit, and a quick lacing system on the side pulls it snug. Abrasion resistant leather around the heel protects the foot. It comes in several colours, and Garreth’s advice is to try one on, because the sock fit feels different from a normal boot.
