All of our OMP racing boots have been updated for the 2022 season. The listings now have current information, new images and the latest FIA homologations.
There are new boots in the range too, some of them on our website for the first time, and the OMP First has taken its place on the showroom display.

Why race boots matter
Race boots are required in most forms of car motorsport. They have a flame retardant lining to protect your feet in a fire, and a thin sole with a lot of grip so you can feel the pedals and work them precisely.
As with the rest of your racewear, the approval belongs to the boot itself, so it is worth checking the label against your championship’s rules. Our guide to choosing FIA race boots covers the standard and the fit.
The OMP Sport race boot
The OMP Sport is designed for the clubman racer who wants the latest FIA approval at a sensible cost. It is made from a soft microfibre with a flame resistant Nomex lining, and the ankle has a rear bellow that makes it more comfortable and easier to move in.
The design is silkscreen printed, and the boots come in black with red or white details. We think they will suit a lot of drivers starting out, and we are looking forward to having them in the showroom.
On the display now is the OMP First. It is the new, updated design of the popular First-S boot, with a full suede construction and a comfortable rubber sole that grips well.
It fastens with laces and a Velcro strap across the top. We have it in black in sizes EU 44 to 47, ready to try on in the showroom or to send out.

Getting the fit right
Race boots are meant to fit closer than a street shoe, with no room for your foot to move about on the pedals. Most drivers start from their normal shoe size.
Garreth’s advice is to try boots on in the socks you will race in. If you cannot get to the showroom, call us with your usual size and we will check it against the OMP chart for you.
