The Complete BC Racing Coilover Guide for Daihatsu
The Move accounts for seven of the sixteen Daihatsu fitments in the BC Racing catalogue, and the newest generation of the Move is the one to read carefully. Three separate listings cover 2022 onwards: Canbus FWD (LA850), standard FWD (LA850S) and AWD (LA860S). Those are three different kits. Check the chassis code before picking a part number.
Ten fitments are V1 only, five are BR only, and the Mira Gino (1999 to 2004, L700S) is the only model in the catalogue with both series available.
Which BC series fits your Daihatsu
BR and V1 are the only two series available across the Daihatsu range. BR covers five fitments: the Tanto (2019 onwards), the Move Canbus (2022 onwards), both Move variants from 2025, and the original Copen L880K (2002 to 2012). V1 covers all the older models going back to 1998, plus the second-generation Copen LA400K. The Mira Gino (1999 to 2004, chassis L700S) is the only Daihatsu in the catalogue with both.

What to check before you order
Move: confirm your chassis code before selecting a kit. The current Move generation runs across three listings. The Move Canbus (2022 onwards, chassis LA850) has a different kit specification to the Move FWD (2025 onwards, chassis LA850S) and the Move AWD (2025 onwards, chassis LA860S). A 2022 to 2024 Move needs the LA850. From 2025, you need either LA850S (FWD) or LA860S (AWD). If you want to confirm the right listing before ordering, drop us an email or click to open a chat.
Move 10-14: FWD and 4WD are separate kits. The 2010 to 2014 Move lists two part numbers: one for FWD (chassis LA100S) and one for 4WD (chassis LA110S). The chassis code on the compliance plate will confirm which you need.
Copen: the older generation is BR, the newer is V1. The original Copen L880K (2002 to 2012) sits on BR. The second-generation LA400K (2014 onwards) is on V1. Most recent Daihatsu models in the BC range are BR, so the LA400K is the exception worth noting before you order.

Seven Move kits. From 2025 there are two separate listings for FWD (LA850S) and AWD (LA860S). The Move Canbus (2022 onwards, LA850) is a third distinct fitment covering the years before the 2025 update. The three older listings cover 2006 to 2014 on V1. The 2010 to 2014 generation also splits on drive type: FWD (LA100S) and 4WD (LA110S) are listed separately.
BC Racing coilovers for the Daihatsu Copen and Tanto
Three kits. The Copen LA400K (2014 onwards) is V1. The original Copen L880K (2002 to 2012) is BR. The Tanto (2019 onwards, LA650S) is BR only.
BC Racing coilovers for the Daihatsu Sirion, Mira Gino, Cast, Yrv and Coo
Six kits across the rest of the Daihatsu range. Both Sirion generations are V1: the M112S (1998 to 2004) and the QNC20 (2004 to 2010). The Mira Gino (1999 to 2004, L700S) is the only Daihatsu with both BR and V1 available. The Cast AWD (2015 to 2023, LA260S) and the Yrv (2000 to 2005, M201G) are V1. The Coo (2006 to 2012) is V1 and carries no chassis code in the BC Racing listing.
Final thoughts
Ten V1 fitments, five BR and one with both. The Move takes up nearly half the Daihatsu catalogue, and the three listings from 2022 onwards are where most questions come in. Canbus FWD (LA850), standard FWD (LA850S) and AWD (LA860S) are all separate kits, all in stock.
