The Complete BC Racing Coilover Guide for Tesla

Almost every Tesla listing on this page comes in two forms. The standard kit drops the car in the usual range for BC Racing. The OE Height version runs the same BR series damper and spring but keeps the car at stock ride height, so you get 30-click damping adjustment without the drop. That split runs through the Model 3, Model Y and Model Y Juniper.

The Model S is different. Its two listings split on whether the factory fitted conventional coil spring suspension or the optional air suspension. If the car has air bags in place, neither listing applies. Read the Model S section below before ordering.

Which BC series fits your Tesla

All 18 Tesla listings use the BR series. There is no RM, ER, ZX or ZR fitment for any Tesla in the current UK catalogue. The BR is a twin-tube damper with 30 clicks of compression and rebound adjustment and separate lock rings for ride height. You get that specification regardless of whether you choose the standard lowering kit or the OE Height version.

The table below shows which variant is available for each model. The Model S is the only one where OE Height is not listed.

What to check before ordering

The OE Height choice is the main decision for most Tesla owners. The standard kit will lower the car. The OE Height version will not. Both use the same BR damper body, the same 30-click range, and the same spring seat adjustment. BC sets the spring rate and seat position on the OE Height version to match stock ride height. If you run the car on track and want it lower, the standard kit. If you want the damper upgrade without changing the ride height, OE Height.

Drive type matters too. AWD and RWD cars have different front suspension geometry on the Model 3 and Model Y, so BC lists them as separate products. Check your car’s drivetrain before ordering.

The Model Y Juniper is the 2025 refresh. The suspension pickup points changed with the facelift and the pre-2025 kit will not fit. If your car is a 2025 Model Y, you need the Juniper-specific listings, not the standard Model Y ones.

The Model S Coil Only listing is for cars where the factory air suspension has been removed and replaced with conventional coil springs. If your Model S still has the original air bags fitted, this listing does not apply. If you are not certain which suspension your car has, drop us an email or click to open a chat and we will help you confirm it before you order.

BC Racing coilovers for the Tesla Model 3

Eight listings for the Model 3, splitting by generation and drive type, with standard and OE Height available throughout both. The 2024-onwards Highland platform is treated as a separate generation because BC updated the kit specification with the refresh. If your car is a 2024 or newer Model 3, use the 24+ listings. The 2017 to 2023 cars use the earlier set.

BC Racing coilovers for the Tesla Model Y

Eight listings for the Model Y, covering the original platform from 2020 and the Juniper from 2025. The two generations use separate kits. The 2020 to 2024 cars take the standard Model Y listings. If your car is a 2025 Model Y Juniper, pick the Juniper-specific kit: the suspension geometry changed with the refresh and the earlier kit will not fit.

BC Racing coilovers for the Tesla Model S

Two listings for the Model S, both covering cars from 2012 onwards. The AWD kit is for cars running conventional coil spring front suspension. The Coil Only RWD listing is specifically for cars where the factory air suspension has been removed. If you are not sure which applies to your car, drop us an email or click to open a chat.

Final thoughts

Eighteen Tesla fitments, one series, and the decision splits between standard and OE Height for the bulk of the range. The Model 3 and Model Y are each covered across two generations and two drive types, with both height variants available throughout. The Juniper gets its own listings because the 2025 refresh changed the suspension geometry and the earlier kit will not work on it. The Model S is the one to read carefully before ordering.

If you need help confirming which kit fits your car, Garreth or Cameron can talk it through on 0115 9893488, or click to open a chat.
