New B-G Boss Kits for Citroen, Dodge and Ferrari
Steering news, April 2025
The next batch of B-G Racing boss kits is on the site, this time for Citroen, Dodge and Ferrari. It is a mixed group: small Citroens and vans, American Dodges of the 1980s, and a long list of classic Ferraris.
As with the rest of the B-G range, each kit is machined for one car's steering column and drilled for aftermarket wheels, so you can fit a MOMO, Sparco, OMP or Nardi wheel in place of the original.

What a B-G boss kit is
A boss kit, or hub, is the adaptor between your steering column and an aftermarket wheel. One side matches the column splines of a particular car; the other is drilled for the wheel. It also sets how far the wheel sits from the dash.
B-G kits are machined from aluminium and come with the fixings to fit them. They are drilled for both 6 x 70 mm wheels, used by MOMO, Sparco and OMP, and 6 x 74 mm wheels such as Nardi, Personal and Raid. Each listing states whether the kit is collapsible or non-collapsible.
Citroen
The Citroen kits cover classics such as the 2 CV, Dyane, Mehari, LN and LNA and Visa, the Xsara and Evasion of the 1990s, and newer cars including the C1, DS 4 and DS 5, along with the Berlingo and Jumper vans. Our Citroen hub guide lists them by model and year.
Dodge
For Dodge there are kits for the Charger and Shelby Charger, the Daytona, Shadow, Lancer and Spirit, and the Caravan, mostly for cars from the mid 1980s on, plus a Shelby Charger kit for 1967 onwards.
If you want to take the wheel off when you leave the car, a quick release bolts between the boss kit and the wheel.

Ferrari
The Ferrari list is long: the 208 GTB and GTS Turbo, 308 GTB and GTS, 328 GTB and GTS, the 365 GT 2+2, GTB/4, GTC/4 and GT/BB, the 400i and 412, the 512 BB, Mondial, Testarossa, GTO, F355 and F430. Our Ferrari hub guide has the full list.
Garreth’s advice on a valuable classic is to keep the original wheel safe, because the B-G kit bolts on and the car can go back to standard later. On a newer car, remember that the driver airbag is lost when the factory wheel comes off.
Which cars do the new B-G boss kits cover?
Citroen, Dodge and Ferrari models, from the Citroen 2 CV to the Ferrari F430.
Which steering wheels fit a B-G boss kit?
They are drilled for 6 x 70 mm wheels such as MOMO, Sparco and OMP, and for 6 x 74 mm wheels such as Nardi.
Are B-G boss kits collapsible?
Some are and some are not; each listing states whether the kit is collapsible or non-collapsible.
Can I put my original steering wheel back later?
Yes. The boss kit bolts on, so keeping the original wheel means the car can be returned to standard.
Drilled for 6 x 70 mm and 6 x 74 mm wheels, so the choice of wheel stays open.
Give us the model and year and we will match the B-G boss kit, and a wheel and quick release if you need them.
