B-G do not list a 205 or a 206. Both come from MOMO or OMP instead. B-G cover the 104, the 106, the 107 and 108, the 208, the 305 and 308, the 309, the 404, the 406, the 504 and 505, the 605 and the 806, so the range is deep, it just has two famous holes in it. People assume we do not stock a 205 hub because the B-G search comes back empty. We stock three of them.
Below is the whole Peugeot range, what each hub covers, and the wheels that bolt to it.

Why you need a B-G or MOMO boss kit
An aftermarket wheel will not bolt onto a Peugeot column on its own. The column has splines, the back of the wheel has a bolt pattern, and the boss kit is the part that joins the two. It also sets how far the wheel sits from the dash, which decides your reach to the indicator stalks and the clearance over your knees.
Both brands machine theirs from cast aluminium and put the fixing screws, the Allen key and the horn button retaining ring in the box, so nothing is missing halfway through the job. The B-G kits are made in Italy and drilled twice, for 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm. The MOMO kits are drilled 6 x 70mm.
It joins two different fittings
Your column has splines. The back of the wheel has a bolt pattern. The hub is the only part that speaks both.
It sets how far the wheel sits
The hub decides the distance from the dash, which changes your reach to the indicator stalks and the clearance over your knees.
Nothing else to buy
The fixing screws, the Allen key and the horn button retaining ring are all in the box, so nothing stops you halfway through the job.
The 205 splits in the middle of its life. ML6807 is the hub for cars up to 1987 and MC6813 takes over from 1988, and OMP split theirs the same way at July 1987. The 309 does the same thing at June 1989 and the 405 at July 1992. If your car is close to one of those dates, check the build date rather than the registration year.
The 106 is worth a second look as well. MOMO cover 1991 to 1996 with MC6822, and B-G pick it up from 1996 with the 106 Sport hub and again from 1997 with the standard 106 hub. Three listings, three different windows.
Steering wheel installation explained
So how does a Sparco wheel end up on a MOMO hub? Because nearly every aftermarket motorsport wheel is drilled to the same pattern, six bolts on a 70mm circle, written as 6 x 70mm PCD. MOMO, Sparco, OMP, Simoni Racing and the Mountney M-Range all use it. The hub is chosen by your car, the wheel is chosen by you, and nothing locks you into one brand.

How each brand drills its hubs
The Peugeot B-G boss kit range
Eighteen B-G Peugeot hubs, nearly all at the same money, running from the 1974 104 through to the 208 and the 308. This is the complete list.
Several share a part. BG8336 covers the 104, the 104Z and the pre-1981 305 from one hub. BG8335 does both the 404 and the 504, and BG8083 covers the 406 and the 806. The 208 is the only one that sits at a different price.

MK6828R is the busiest part in the Peugeot range and covers the 1007, the 207 and the 307 from one hub. MK6826R does the 206 and the 206 Cabrio, MC6822 covers the 106, the pre-1998 306 and the Partner, and ML6807 handles both the 1980 onward 104 and the pre-1987 205.

A quick release sits between the boss kit and the wheel and lets you pull the wheel off the column in a second. Two reasons people fit them. Getting in and out past a fixed wheel in a caged car is awkward, and a wheel that comes off with you is a wheel nobody can drive away with.
B-G Racing do four. The universal and the standard bolt-on versions suit most road and track cars and need nothing modifying. The weld-on 3-point and 6-point are for a car where the column is being cut and welded anyway. All four take the same 6 x 70mm wheels as everything else on this page.

Pair your boss kit with a high performance steering wheel
Once the hub is sorted the wheel is entirely your choice. These are the ones I would put in a Peugeot, and there is a spread of diameter, dish and price here rather than ten versions of the same thing.
In a 205 GTI the MOMO Montecarlo is the one I keep coming back to. It looks right for the period and the rim is thick enough to hold properly. If you want something smaller and quicker for a track car the Sparco 345 or the OMP Corsica will suit better, and on a 404 or a 504 the MOMO Retro looks like it came with the car.

Every wheel we sell is drilled 6 x 70mm, so any of them will bolt to any of the hubs above. The only real decision is diameter and dish, which changes how heavy the steering feels and how close the rim sits to your chest.
Final thoughts
Between B-G, MOMO and OMP there is a Peugeot hub for nearly everything built since 1973, as long as you remember that the 205 and the 206 are not a B-G part. The hub is cheap next to the wheel, and the whole job comes down to matching the model and the build date to the listing.
