The B-G Racing low profile horn button retaining ring lets you keep a centre horn button when you are running a B-G steering wheel spacer. It sits between the boss kit and the steering wheel and secures the horn button from the rear.
A standard retaining ring is too deep to clear a spacer body, so the horn button fouls the spacer instead of seating flat against it. That is the usual reason a horn button will not sit properly once a spacer goes on. This low profile version is machined to solve exactly that.
Specification
- Part number BG8361
- Outer diameter 80mm
- Inner diameter 52mm
- Drilled 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm PCD
What it fits
B-G list this ring for MOMO horn buttons, and it suits any MOMO horn button that secures with a plate from the rear of the wheel. Because it is drilled for both 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm PCD it lines up with MOMO, Sparco, OMP and Simoni bosses as well as Nardi and Personal.
If you are running a Personal, Nardi or another brand of horn button rather than a MOMO one, send us a photo and the diameter of the retaining ring on the back of your wheel and we will confirm the fit before you order. Horn button assemblies vary between brands, and we would rather check it for you than have you order twice.
Ordering a spacer at the same time
If you are buying a B-G alloy steering wheel spacer and want to keep a horn button in the middle of the wheel, add this ring to the order. It is the part that makes the two work together.
