The Bilstein B6 shock absorber for the Audi Q2 (GA) Multi-Link, Bilstein part number 20-279530, for the rear of the car.

B6 is the uprated damper for a car sitting at or near standard ride height. Bilstein monotube gas-pressure damping gives tighter body control and better composure over broken surfaces.

This is a Damptronic damper, so the electronic damping control on the car carries on working. It plugs into the original wiring and the setting you choose from the driver’s seat still does what it did before, with Bilstein damping underneath it instead of the original.

Fit B6 when the car is standard or on standard-height springs and you want it to feel sharper without ruining the ride.

About Bilstein

Bilstein have been building dampers in Germany since 1873 and put the first gas-pressure shock absorber into production in 1954. The monotube design that came out of that work is still what separates a Bilstein from a cheap replacement, because the gas and the oil stay separated and the damping does not fade as the damper heats up.
