Bilstein B14 47-100763 is a height-adjustable suspension kit for the listed BMW 5 Series (E39) applications. Match the chassis, engine, original suspension and axle ratings before ordering.
B14 provides ride-height adjustment with fixed damping. There is no damping-adjustment dial.
Ride height and axle limits
- Front lowering range: approximately 35-50 mm
- Rear lowering range: approximately 20-50 mm
- Maximum front axle rating: 1,105 kg
- Maximum rear axle rating: 1,225 kg
Lowering is measured against the original suspension specified for the application. It is not an absolute ground-clearance figure. Original sports suspension and vehicle equipment can change the resulting drop.

Fitting and adjustment conditions
- Follow the approval document and installation instructions for this exact part number.
- For vehicles without self-levelling suspension.
- For vehicles without electronically controlled suspension.
- Some wheel and tyre combinations require spacers. Check the part-specific clearance and certificate conditions.
Check axle ratings on the vehicle identification plate. Follow the installation instructions, confirm wheel and tyre clearance throughout the permitted range, and have wheel alignment checked after fitting.
