What is on this page
The brake kits in the sale
There are three complete kits in the sale, each made for a specific car.
Brembo, Volkswagen Golf Mk5. A Brembo front conversion with red four-piston calipers and 330x28mm cross-drilled discs. Brembo designs these kits to work with the car’s standard parts and ABS, for road use with the extra you want on a track day.
Hi Spec Mega Monster, Jaguar XJ8. A 360mm conversion using Hi Spec’s Mega Monster, a six-piston alloy caliper and the largest in the Hi Spec range, with two-piece cross-drilled discs and black calipers.
Tarox Sport, Mercedes Vito. A compact 310mm kit with a six-piston Tarox caliper and 310x30mm discs, for the Vito. The narrow, light calipers are made to fit behind 17 inch wheels.
A kit is more than a caliper
A conversion kit replaces the calipers, discs and the brackets that mount them, so the bigger disc sits in the right place. Garreth's advice is to check your wheels before anything else: a bigger disc and caliper need room behind the spokes, and that is where most fitment questions start.
The EBC pads in the sale
Alongside the kits are three sets of EBC pads. EBC makes its pads in Britain, and they are slotted and chamfered to cut noise, with a coating to help them bed in.
The Yellowstuff fronts are listed for the Aston Martin Vantage, Virage and Volante. The Greenstuff pads are listed for the Volvo 120 to 260 series. A set of rear pads is listed for the BMW E21, Lotus Esprit and Vauxhall Carlton and Cavalier.

How the sale works
The 35% comes off at the checkout, so there is no code to enter. The offer runs for a limited time, and once an item has gone it has gone, since these are the pieces we have in the showroom. We ran a similar brakes clearance in October 2022.
