Motorsport Kit Bags Updated For 2023
Kit bag news, November 2023
We have just finished updating our whole range of motorsport kit bags, in good time for Christmas. As part of the update, eight new kit bags have been added, and they are on our website for the first time.
The range covers helmet bags, double helmet boxes, travel bags and racewear bags from brands including Sparco, OMP, Alpinestars, Bell, Sabelt and Stilo. A kit bag also makes a practical present for anyone who races or does track days.

What is new in the range
The eight new bags are storage for helmets and the rest of your motorsport kit. They have several compartments for different items, down to small pockets for visors and tear-offs. Durable outer materials protect against knocks and dirt, and soft linings inside stop the contents getting scratched.
Kit bags are the safe, convenient way to get racewear and some safety equipment to an event and home again. Our guide to kit bags goes through what each type is for.
Bell bags
The Bell Helmet and HANS bag has a separate compartment for the helmet and for the HANS device, with a thick protective lining. Pockets inside take gloves and balaclavas, and the outside has a quilted finish with red piping and Bell branding. You can see it on the left of the photo above.
The Bell Helmet Bag is simpler: a tough outer shell with strong carry handles, and a cushioned lining to protect the helmet in storage.
Sparco bags
The Sparco DryTech Helmet and HANS bag opens like a clamshell and holds a helmet and a head and neck restraint together. Its party piece is a USB-powered drying system that moves air through the helmet, so the lining can dry out between sessions.
The Sparco Trip kit bag has two separate zipped compartments and reinforced sides, with double carry handles and a padded, adjustable shoulder strap.

OMP and Rocked-IT helmet bags
The Rocked-IT helmet bag, in grey and red, is made from a shower-resistant material with a fleece lining and double zips to protect the paint and visor. It has an internal net section and comes with a shoulder strap, and it suits motorcycle and other sports helmets as well as motorsport ones.
The OMP Helmet and HANS bag is a tough carry bag that holds a helmet and a HANS device, with a removable visor pocket inside, a removable adjustable shoulder strap and a carry handle.
Garreth’s advice is to choose by what you carry: if you use a HANS, a bag with a compartment for it keeps the device from rubbing against the helmet shell.
