New Arrival: The Sparco Double Helmet Box Is On Display In Our Showroom
Showroom news, November 2024
The Sparco Double Helmet Box has arrived in the showroom. It carries two helmets side by side in one case, which makes it a neat answer for anyone with a spare helmet, or a driver and co-driver who travel to events together.
We have it on our helmet display alongside the Sparco helmets and helmet bags, so you can see the size of it and put your own helmet in it before you buy. It was also ready for immediate dispatch or collection when it went on display.
- Sparco part number SPA01662
- Two helmet compartments with a divider between them
- Wipe clean vinyl outer that holds its shape
- Extra side pockets for small kit
- Available in black or blue
- On display in the showroom next to the Sparco helmets

Why a helmet box is worth having
A helmet is one of the most expensive pieces of kit a driver owns, and most of the wear it picks up has nothing to do with driving. It gets scuffed in the boot of the car, knocked around in the awning, and left on the floor of the garage. A proper case keeps the dust off, stops scratches on the shell and the visor, and gives everything a place to live between events.
A double box does that for two helmets at once. It suits drivers who keep a spare, anyone who runs a different helmet for different events, and crews who want both helmets in one case on the way to the stage.
What the Sparco Double Helmet Box offers
The box has two helmet compartments with a divider between them, so the helmets are kept apart and do not rub against each other. The outer is vinyl, which wipes clean and holds its shape in regular paddock use, with a stitched finish and the Sparco logo on the front.
There are extra pockets on the sides. Sparco say they are big enough for a tool or a wheel brace, and in practice they take the smaller things that gather round a helmet: a balaclava, a visor cleaning kit or ear defenders. It is available in black or blue.

Most modern helmets fit. If you run a particularly large shell, a helmet with an extended peak, or one with head restraint posts and fittings that stick out, it is worth checking the fit first, because it can be tighter than a standard full face helmet. That is where having it in the showroom helps: bring your helmet in and try it.
On display with the Sparco helmets
We have a good number of Sparco helmets on display, open and closed face, at different levels of approval, some suitable for karting and track days and others homologated for FIA competition. Two Sparco helmet bags sit alongside the new box, so you can compare the options for carrying your helmet side by side.
One newer option on the Sparco helmets is the choice of interior lining colour, which varies by model. Garreth’s advice is to choose the helmet for the approval your events need first, then pick the lining colour and the case. Our guide on how to choose a motorsport helmet covers the approvals.
