The 2025 version of the OMP KS-2 Art kart glove is now on the site. It replaces the earlier KS-2 Art with a new printed design that fades to black towards the fingertips, and it comes in six colours and sizes XXS to XL.
It is a karting glove without FIA approval, made for grip and comfort on the wheel at a sensible price. That makes it a good fit for leisure karting, practice and track days in a kart, and a glove to rule out for any series that asks for approved kit.

What is new for 2025
The KS-2 Art has been one of the OMP kart gloves we sell most, and the 2025 version keeps the same idea with a new look. The whole back of the glove is printed, and each colour fades into black towards the fingertips, so the colour is at the cuff and back of the hand and the fingers stay dark.
The glove itself is built for a kart wheel. The fingers are pre-curved so the material does not bunch when you grip, and the seams are on the outside so nothing presses into your hand over a long session. A slash-cut cuff with elastic makes it quick to get on and holds it in place.
Turn the glove over and the palm and fingers carry a silicone print for grip. A kart has no power steering and the wheel kicks back through every kerb, so grip matters more than it does in a car.
Garreth's advice with any kart glove is to go snug. Spare material in the palm moves against the wheel and you lose feel, so if you are between sizes, ask us before you order.
Colours and sizes
There are six colours, each fading to black: white, blue, red, yellow, orange, and anthracite with yellow. Sizes run from XXS to XL, which covers younger drivers as well as adults, so a family can all wear the same glove in their own colour.
Where you can use it
The KS-2 Art has no FIA approval. It is a karting glove for grip and protection, not a fire-rated glove, so it is not for car racing, and it is not the glove for a karting series that requires FIA 8877-2022 approved kit. For that, OMP’s KS-X is approved to FIA 8877-2022.
