New Sparco X-Pro Karting Helmets Arrive In-Store

Sparco's new X-Pro helmet for 2024 has arrived. Our first batch came in with a Sparco delivery this month, and the helmets are now on display in the showroom to look at and try on, in black and white.
The X-Pro replaces Sparco's Club X1. It shares a lot with the older helmet, but the shape is sharper, with more aggressive curves and a bigger spoiler at the back. It is an ECE approved helmet for track days and karting, not an FIA race helmet, and that is worth being clear about before you buy.

What the X-Pro is
The X-Pro is a full face helmet with a shell in Sparco’s Advanced Thermo Material. Next to the Club X1 it replaces, the lines are sharper and the rear spoiler is larger, but the idea is the same: a comfortable, well ventilated helmet for track days and karting.
The shield is clear polycarbonate and flips up, with several detent positions so you can set it where you want it. Replacement shields are available in different tints. Air comes in through a chin bar intake and a top vent, and both open and close so you can adjust the airflow. The inner lining comes out for washing, which matters on a helmet used session after session.
Our first X-Pro helmets came in with a Sparco delivery this month. We have both colours on the shelf, so you can see the matt black and the gloss white side by side and try the fit before you order.
Sizes run from S at 55 to 56 cm up to XXL at 62 cm. Garreth's advice is to measure around your head just above the eyebrows, and if you fall between sizes, to come and try both.
ECE, not FIA: who it is for
The X-Pro is approved to ECE 22-06, the current European road helmet standard, and the sticker on the shield says so. That is the approval most track day organisers ask for, and it suits track days and karting where ECE is accepted.
It is not an FIA or Snell motorsport approval, and it has no HANS posts. None of the Sparco karting and track day helmets carry FIA approval, so for any event that asks for an FIA homologated helmet you need one of the FIA Sparco models instead. Our Sparco helmet range for 2024
Alongside the X-Pro arriving, we have updated all our Sparco helmet listings for 2024 with the latest approvals, sizes, colours and new models. The range covers open and full face helmets, some approved for track and fast road use and others FIA homologated for competition, up to carbon fibre helmets such as the Prime RF-10W Supercarbon.
