OMP One Evo X R: the seven-colour launch for 2025
OMP’s One Evo X R colour range was a highlight of our January 2025 racewear update. The launch covered seven colour choices, including the orange combination shown in the original product photograph. Start with the fastening: the X R uses rotor lacing, while the One Evo X uses conventional thin laces.
The 2025 colour update
The original launch range covered black, white, red, fluorescent yellow, navy blue, black/yellow and orange/black combinations. The photographs remain part of that January 2025 record.
The current colour selector may use different names and combinations. OMP now describes its orange option as orange/anthracite, for example. For a new order, use the exact colour and size on the One Evo X R listing and ask us to check the combination if you are matching existing kit.

Rotor lacing or thin laces?

OMP’s current descriptions specify soft leather and fabric, without identifying the leather species. Each boot has its own product code and construction details. Compare the whole specification alongside the closure.

What to check when trying them
Try the boots with your race socks, tighten the fastening and check that the heel stays in place when you move between pedals. The rotor should draw the upper around your foot without creating a pressure point. With laces, check that the tongue stays flat and the loose ends are secured.
EU sizing is the clearest starting point for these listings. Use OMP’s own conversion chart where needed, rather than assuming a UK number transfers exactly from an everyday shoe. The two models also start at different EU sizes.
