The Bell Large Trolley Travel Bag (BEL2120005) is the top of Bell’s bag range for travel use. The key difference from the Medium Trolley is the removable hard insert designed to protect the helmet when the bag is handled as checked luggage or stacked in transit. The main compartment is larger, and two external pockets are sizeable enough for shoes or additional kit that would not fit inside the Medium model.

The quilted exterior and padded interior construction is the same as the Medium Trolley. An extendable pull handle and roller wheels complete the travel setup. The multiple internal compartments separate helmet from racewear from personal kit without needing a separate bag for each.

For travelling to events by air where the helmet is going in the hold, this is the correct Bell bag to use. The hard insert protects the shell from the compression and impact that soft baggage is subject to in airline handling. If you are driving to events and the helmet stays in its own bag on the back seat or in the boot, the Medium Trolley or the simpler Helmet and Gear Bag may be sufficient. Will a full race kit fit?
That is what it is for: suit, boots, gloves, underwear, and in the larger sizes a helmet and HANS too, with wheels so your shoulders do not pay for it across a paddock. If you want to know whether a specific combination fits, ask us for the internal dimensions.

Is it worth a dedicated kit bag over a normal holdall?
The difference is compartments and padding in the right places: wet and dry separation, boot pockets that keep tarmac dust off your suit, and padded sections where they matter. A normal holdall works until the first time a buckle rubs a hole in fireproof fabric.

How do I look after it?
Brush it out and wipe it down rather than machine washing, and let it dry open after a wet weekend. Zips last longest if you close them before storage.
