Bilstein B14 part 47-292055 combines adjustable front spring-and-damper assemblies with matched rear dampers for the listed Ford Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom V362 applications. This version lowers the front by approximately 10–30 mm and retains the original rear ride height.

Ride height and lowering range

Listed V362 applications

  • Front lowering: Approximately 10–30 mm
  • Rear lowering: 0 mm

Conditions: Front axle rating up to 1,750 kg; certificate conditions apply.

This is the version without rear lowering. The rear leaf spring is retained. An optional lowering leaf spring is a separate component and is not included with part 47-292055. Do not order this kit expecting the rear of the van to sit lower.

Check the vehicle identification plate for the permitted front axle load, rather than using an estimated vehicle weight. The manufacturer lists a maximum front axle rating of 1,750 kg for this application.

Adjustment and compatibility

B14 provides threaded ride-height adjustment with fixed damping. It does not offer a damping-adjustment dial. This part is listed for vehicles without electronic suspension control.

Keep the installation within the permitted adjustment range and follow the certificate for this part number. After fitting, have wheel alignment checked and any affected headlamp or driver-assistance settings checked in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.

What is included?

The kit image shows two front dampers, two front coil springs, two rear dampers and an adjustment tool. It does not include a replacement rear leaf spring. Original mounting components may need to be reused as described in Bilstein’s installation instructions.
