Eibach E10-20-012-02-22 replaces the original springs on the BMW 635d / 645Ci / 650i Convertible (E64) applications listed below. This four-spring Pro-Kit provides a fixed reduction in ride height while retaining the existing dampers, subject to their condition and the fitting document.
Lowering and axle limits
- Front lowering: approximately 30 mm
- Rear lowering: approximately 25-30 mm
- Maximum permitted front axle load: 1100 kg
- Maximum permitted rear axle load: 1270 kg
These are the current Eibach catalogue lowering figures for the listed applications. Actual ride height varies with original suspension, equipment and vehicle tolerances. Any existing factory lowering reduces the additional drop. This is a fixed spring kit; ride height is not adjustable.

- BMW 635d Convertible (E64): 07/2007 to 07/2010; 2993 cc diesel; 210 kW / 286 PS; engine M57 D30 (306D5).
- BMW 645 Ci Convertible (E64): 04/2004 to 08/2005; 4398 cc petrol; 245 kW / 333 PS; engine N62 B44 A.
- BMW 650i Convertible (E64): 09/2005 to 08/2010; 4799 cc petrol; 270 kW / 367 PS; engine N62 B48 B.
For rear-wheel-drive vehicles without self-levelling suspension. Check the permitted axle weights on the vehicle identification plate, not its unladen weight. Match the chassis, engine and spring part numbers before ordering.
Kit contents and identification
- 2 x F11-20-012-02-VA – front springs
- 2 x F11-20-012-02-HA – rear springs
Dampers are not included. The spring markings and complete fitting certificate identify the correct components for your vehicle.
Installation details
- Not for vehicles with air suspension.
- The certificate includes vehicles with original electronic damper adjustment. This kit replaces the springs only. If the dampers are also changed to conventional units, follow the certificate conditions: only comfort-adjustable systems that do not affect other safety systems may be deactivated, using the approved hardware or vehicle-manufacturer software procedure; check operation and ensure no suspension fault warning remains.
- If fitted, check and adjust any bump-travel-dependent brake pressure reducer according to the vehicle workshop manual.
- Have a suitably equipped workshop fit the springs and check wheel alignment and headlamp aim afterwards.
- Inspect the dampers, spring seats and mounting components, and replace worn parts before installation.
- Retain the original bump stops specified in the fitting certificate. Follow its limits on replacement dampers and spring seats.
- Check wheel and tyre clearance and the conditions for any other modifications. Lower ground clearance needs to be considered on ramps and uneven surfaces.
