  • Where replacement mountings are not supplied, reuse the original mounting components only if they are in like-new condition; replace worn parts before fitting.
  • H&R permits the front bar to be used without the rear bar, but warns that this may increase understeer. H&R has not tested or verified using the rear bar on its own.
  • E30 cars without an original rear anti-roll bar need additional original BMW mounting parts, two of each: retaining clip 33551129195; screw with washer 07119915066; drop link 33551126932; screw 07119912501; self-locking nut 07129946400; drop-link holder 33321127717; self-locking collar nut 31331092887.

Fitting documents

Install at the original anti-roll-bar mounting points using the supplied bushes and mounting components, following the complete instructions. Have a suitably equipped workshop check the installation and clearances. Follow the relevant documents for any other suspension or wheel modifications.

Follow the separate H&R instructions for the supplied HR33-S027A01 rear-bar screw, including its mounting arrangement and tightening requirements.
