The OMP 2.4 Litre Ecolife Plus Hand Held Fire Extinguisher is built to deliver quick and reliable fire suppression in the event of an onboard incident. Using a high performance foam based extinguishant, it is designed to act fast while remaining safe to use inside the vehicle. Supplied with a secure quick release mounting system, it allows easy access when it matters most.

This extinguisher features a lightweight aluminium bottle that offers strong and durable construction while keeping weight to a minimum. Inside, the OMP Ecolife foam agent works quickly to control and suppress fires while helping to prevent re ignition, making it suitable for both cockpit and engine bay use. The non toxic formula means it can be safely discharged in enclosed spaces without posing additional risk to the driver or vehicle systems.

Fully approved to FIA and Motorsport UK standards, this extinguisher meets the requirements for both national and international rally use. It is supplied with aluminium mounting brackets for a secure installation, along with stainless steel quick release straps that hold the bottle firmly in place while still allowing fast removal in an emergency.

Is a handheld enough for my car?
It depends on your regulations. Many entry-level disciplines and track day cars only need a securely mounted handheld, while race and stage rally cars typically need a plumbed-in system as well or instead. Check your championship regulations, and ask us if you want a hand deciding between the two.
