The advanced Simpson M61 HANS Posts Quick Release Anchors Kit is designed for use with Simpson Hybrid head and neck restraints fitted with M61 dual-end tethers and consists of quick-release helmet posts with pull tethers, along with bolts for attaching to the helmet. This system allows the user to quickly and efficiently release attachment tethers by swiftly pulling on a cord on each side of the HANS device instead of the more complicated and inefficient traditional locking mechanism.
These FHR posts are only approved for use with helmets that have the following homologation: FIA 8860-2018. FIA 8858-2010, FIA 8859-2016, FIA 8860-2010, Snell SA2010, and Snell SA2015.
