The Stilo Race Gear Bag (part YY0070) is sized to carry a full-face racing helmet, a HANS or FHR device, and a layer of race clothing together in one bag. The layout is specific to motorsport kit rather than adapted from a general luggage design, with separate compartments for the helmet and the HANS device that maintain the shape of both items in transit.

A bag designed around the awkward geometry of a racing helmet and the rigid arms of an FHR device is more practical than adapting a sports holdall. The YY0070 fits Stilo helmets across the ST5 and ST6 ranges. The helmet compartment is padded; the HANS section keeps the device from working against the shell during transport.

If your setup includes extended HANS arm lengths or additional electronics, check the bag dimensions before purchasing: the bag is built around standard motorsport kit dimensions and a custom setup may not fit. The YY0070 is the standard bag for the Stilo range and works for most race weekend travel setups. Will my helmet fit?
Helmet bags are cut to take any full face or open face lid in our range, peak included. If yours is unusual, ask us and we will check dimensions.

Why use a padded bag at all?
Because the expensive part of a helmet is the shell finish and the liner, and both suffer from loose transit in a boot. A padded bag also keeps the visor from being scratched by everything else in your kit.

Stilo comes from central distribution

Stilo works the same way as Bell. Stocked items are around 10 working days, and special order items extend to around 20 days.

The helmets are often special order

Much of the Stilo helmet range is built rather than stocked, and those orders can run past 20 days.
