TEIN FLEX Z combines twin-tube dampers with 16-level adjustment of compression and rebound together. This VSK82-C1SA4 kit is listed for the specific applications below. Match your chassis, engine and model year before ordering.
Vehicle applications and ride-height settings
Height changes are relative to original equipment ride height: negative values mean lowering and positive values mean raising. Use the recommended range for your exact vehicle. The maximum adjustment range describes mechanical travel and is not a recommended operating setting. Actual height varies with vehicle condition and equipment.

Will this fit my car?
This listing is for the Nissan 200SX S14. Chassis code, model year, engine and drivetrain all matter, and TEIN often use different part numbers for cars that look the same, so check your car against the vehicle table in the description. If anything is unclear, send us your registration or VIN and we will check it before you order.
What can I adjust?
The TEIN FLEX Z uses twin-tube dampers with 16-level adjustable damping, and the ride height is adjustable.
What comes in the kit?
Coilovers front and rear. The front has a camber-adjustable upper mount and the rear has a rubber upper mount. Spring rates are 7 kgf/mm front and 5 kgf/mm rear.
How low will it go?
TEIN publish a recommended height range for each application, worked out in their own testing, and a wider maximum range that is not a recommended setting. For this kit the recommended setting is 40 to 60 mm lower at the front and 20 to 40 mm lower at the rear. Our guide Ride Height, Preload And Getting A Coilover Setup Right explains how to set it without running out of travel.
Is it right for road or track?
It depends how much of your driving is on track. Our guide Fast Road Or Track: Choosing The Damping On A Set Of Coilovers explains what 1-way, 2-way and 3-way adjustment gets you.
Can I fit it myself?
Our guide Fitting Coilovers At Home Or Having Them Done covers what the job involves. Either way, have the wheel alignment checked after fitting and check wheel and tyre clearance through full steering lock and suspension travel.
Can they be rebuilt?
TEIN run a replacement service for FLEX Z dampers rather than an overhaul, so a worn damper is swapped for a new unit. Ask us if you need one.
How long does it take?
This kit is ordered in from the supplier for your car. Ask us for the current lead time before you book the fitting.
