Vehicle applications and ride-height settings

Height changes are relative to original equipment ride height: negative values mean lowering and positive values mean raising. Use the recommended range for your exact vehicle. The maximum adjustment range describes mechanical travel and is not a recommended operating setting. Actual height varies with vehicle condition and equipment.

Use a suspension specialist for installation and wheel alignment. Follow the supplied instructions and check tyre, body and suspension clearance throughout steering and suspension travel. Optional EDFC electronics are sold separately.

The TEIN FLEX Z uses twin-tube dampers with 16-level adjustable damping, and the ride height is adjustable.

What comes in the kit?
Coilovers front and rear. It has rubber upper mounts front and rear. Spring rates are 14 kgf/mm front and 8 kgf/mm rear.

How low will it go?
TEIN publish a recommended height range for each application, worked out in their own testing, and a wider maximum range that is not a recommended setting. For this kit the recommended setting is 20 to 40 mm lower at the front and 10 to 30 mm lower at the rear. Can they be rebuilt?
TEIN run a replacement service for FLEX Z dampers rather than an overhaul, so a worn damper is swapped for a new unit. Ask us if you need one.

How long does it take?
This kit is ordered in from the supplier for your car. Ask us for the current lead time before you book the fitting.
