Sparco Club X1 Carbon Helmets Back In Stock
Helmet news, February 2023
More Sparco Club X1 Carbon helmets have arrived, so they are back in stock and back on display in the showroom. We have sizes S, M, L and XL here to try on, and they can go out straight away or be collected.
XS and XXL are on the website too, on short lead times. We have also added a silver mirror visor as an option on the listing. The carbon finish looks good under the showroom lights, and it gives the helmet a proper motorsport look for a track day.

What is on this page
Back in stock and on display
The Club X1 Carbon is a popular choice for track days, so it is good to have a full run of sizes back on the shelves. S, M, L and XL are all here to try on. Getting the size right matters more than anything else with a helmet, so if you can come in, we would always rather you tried one on first.
If you cannot get to us, measure around your head just above the eyebrows and compare it with the size chart on the listing. Garreth’s advice is to call us if you sit between two sizes, and we will talk you through it.
The Sparco Club X1 Carbon helmet
The Club X1 Carbon has a shell made from Sparco's Advanced Thermo Material (ATM), with a carbon finish. Vents at the chin, brow and top of the head give it a good level of airflow, which you notice on a warm track day. It is a full face helmet that works in both open and closed cockpit cars.
The new silver mirror visor option on our listing is worth a look if you want to cut the glare on a bright day or just prefer the look.

ECE approved, not FIA approved
This is the important part. The Club X1 helmets carry ECE approval, not FIA approval. That makes them right for track days, fast road use and events that do not ask for a fireproof or FIA approved helmet. They are not suitable for FIA homologated motorsport events. If your event lists an FIA or Snell standard, you need a helmet that carries it.
There is also a standard Sparco Club X1, without the carbon finish, in black or white. It has the same ATM shell, the same venting and the same ECE approval, at a lower price.

When you need an FIA helmet
We have just updated all our Sparco helmet listings with the current FIA approvals, sizes and colour options. The range covers open and closed face helmets, with approvals to suit either track and fast road use or FIA homologated events, up to carbon helmets such as the Prime RF-10W Supercarbon for serious competition.
Each Sparco helmet listing also has bundle items at the checkout, such as HANS devices and balaclavas, so you can add what goes with it in one order. Our explainer on FIA and Snell helmet standards sets out what each approval means.
Is the Sparco Club X1 Carbon FIA approved?
No. It is ECE approved, so it suits track days and fast road use, not FIA homologated events.
What sizes of Club X1 Carbon were in the showroom?
In February 2023 we had sizes S, M, L and XL on display, with XS and XXL available online.
Can I get a tinted visor for the Club X1 Carbon?
Yes. A silver mirror visor was added as an option on our listing.
Is there a cheaper version of the Club X1?
