The Complete B-G and MOMO Audi Steering Wheel Hub Guide
MK8017R, the MOMO hub for the Audi A1, A3, A4 and TT, is also the hub for eight Skoda models and several Seats, including the Leon, Ibiza and Toledo. That is the VAG group platform story: Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen have shared engineering underneath their badges since the group’s modern platform strategy began, and this hub is one of the clearest examples of it in our whole catalogue.
This guide covers 48 boss kits across Audi, 41 of them MOMO. I am Cameron, and I look after the steering wheel side of things at GSM Performance.
Which boss kit fits your car
An aftermarket wheel will not bolt onto an Audi column on its own. The boss kit bridges the two, machined to match the spline count and column depth of your specific model and year. The table below is grouped by part number so you can see which listings cross into Seat and Skoda.

Green rows share a part code with Seat, Skoda or Volkswagen models not listed in this guide.
One older MOMO listing, the Audi Coupe from 1990 onward (ML2507), is an older-format listing with no clean modern equivalent, so it is included here even though the SKU formatting differs from the rest of the range. Everything else in the older MOMO batch duplicates a cleanly listed part and is not linked twice.
Fitting a steering wheel hub
So how does a Sparco wheel end up on a MOMO hub? Because nearly every aftermarket motorsport wheel is drilled to the same bolt pattern, six bolts on a 70mm circle, written as 6 x 70mm PCD. MOMO, Sparco, OMP and the Mountney M-Range all use it. The hub is chosen by the car, the wheel is chosen by you, and the two brands never have to match.

How each brand drills its hubs
The B-G Racing hubs
Seven B-G hubs, all solid non-collapsible and dual drilled for 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm. B-G is a smaller presence on Audi than on most makes in this series, MOMO covers the bulk of the range instead.
The MOMO and OMP hubs
Forty-one hubs, mostly MOMO, collapsible and drilled 6 x 70mm. MK8017R is the part to know: it covers the A1, A3 (both generations), A4 and TT, and the same part fits eight Skoda models and several Seats. If you are cross-shopping a Seat Leon or Skoda Octavia hub, check this part number first, you may already own the right one.

The buttons below link to the current range from each brand filtered by make, so they stay accurate as stock changes. If your car is not listed or you are unsure which part fits, drop a note with the model and year and we will confirm before you spend anything.

A quick release sits between the hub and the wheel and lets you pull the wheel off the column in one action. On a track-prepared Audi that is useful for access and security. On a stripped interior it makes getting over the sill easier when the wheel is not fighting you.
All four take the same 6 x 70mm pattern as the boss kits on this page, so whichever hub you choose will work with any of these.

Pair your boss kit with a high performance steering wheel
Once the hub is sorted the wheel is your choice. The TT and A3 suit a smaller diameter, deeper dish wheel, while the classic 80 and 100 series suit a wood rim or plain suede finish. These are the ones I would look at first.

Every wheel we sell is drilled 6 x 70mm, so any of them will bolt to any of the hubs above. The real decision is diameter and dish, which changes how heavy the steering feels and how close the rim sits to your chest.
Final thoughts
Audi is the clearest VAG group platform-sharing story in our whole catalogue. MK8017R alone touches eight Skoda models and several Seats, so if you are choosing between an Audi guide and a Seat or Skoda one, they are worth reading together.
If you are not sure which part fits, or the model on your car is not on the list, drop us a line with the registration. I will confirm the right kit before you order anything.
