The Complete B-G and MOMO Vauxhall and Opel Steering Wheel Hub Guide
Vauxhall and Opel are the same cars sold under two badges, Vauxhall in the UK and Ireland, Opel across the rest of Europe. The Corsa, Astra and Vectra are identical underneath regardless of which badge is on yours. Our listings do not always agree on which name to use though: B-G and MOMO list every part as Vauxhall, OMP lists their range as Opel. If you search for one name and find nothing, try the other.
This guide covers 48 boss kits. I am Cameron, and I look after the steering wheel side of things at GSM Performance.
Which boss kit fits your car
An aftermarket wheel will not bolt onto a Vauxhall or Opel column on its own. The boss kit bridges the two, machined to match the spline count and column depth of your specific model and year. The table below lists every part we carry, badge and all.

No cross-catalogue overlap with other makes. B-G and MOMO list these as Vauxhall, OMP lists them as Opel, same cars either way.
The entire MOMO range for this make, 28 listings, uses an older SKU format with the model name built into the part code rather than a clean number. There is no separate modern MOMO Vauxhall range replacing them, these are the current, in-stock parts. Several airbag/non-airbag pairs exist for the same model and year, check your listing carefully against whether your column has a factory airbag.
Fitting a steering wheel hub
So how does a Sparco wheel end up on a B-G hub? Because nearly every aftermarket motorsport wheel is drilled to the same bolt pattern, six bolts on a 70mm circle, written as 6 x 70mm PCD. MOMO, Sparco, OMP and the Mountney M-Range all use it. The hub is chosen by the car, the wheel is chosen by you, and the two brands never have to match.
MOMO, Sparco, OMP, Simoni Racing and the Mountney M-Range.
Nardi, Personal and Raid.

How each brand drills its hubs
The B-G Racing hubs
Fifteen B-G hubs, all solid non-collapsible and dual drilled for 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm, listed under the Vauxhall name. BG8367 alone covers seven models from the Astra F to the Omega B, with separate airbag and non-airbag variants noted in the titles.
The MOMO and OMP hubs
Thirty-three hubs across MOMO and OMP. MOMO cover the widest span, from the sixties Kadett through to the modern Corsa, all in the older listing format noted above and all under the Vauxhall name. OMP list five hubs under the Opel name instead, covering the Astra, Corsa, Vectra, Tigra, Ascona and Calibra.
Browse by brand
The buttons below link to the current range from each brand filtered by make, so they stay accurate as stock changes. B-G and MOMO search on Vauxhall, OMP searches on Opel, matching how each brand's listings are actually named. If your car is not listed or you are unsure which part fits, drop a note with the model and year and we will confirm before you spend anything.

A quick release sits between the hub and the wheel and lets you pull the wheel off the column in one action. On a track-prepared Corsa or Astra that is useful for access and security. On a stripped interior it makes getting over the sill easier when the wheel is not fighting you.
All four take the same 6 x 70mm pattern as the boss kits on this page, so whichever hub you choose will work with any of these.

Pair your boss kit with a high performance steering wheel
Once the hub is sorted the wheel is your choice. Any of our standard 6 x 70mm wheels will suit the mainstream Corsa and Astra range. These are the ones I would look at first.

Every wheel we sell is drilled 6 x 70mm, so any of them will bolt to any of the hubs above. The real decision is diameter and dish, which changes how heavy the steering feels and how close the rim sits to your chest.
Final thoughts
Vauxhall and Opel are the same badge story more than a shared-engineering one, same cars, two names. The one practical thing to remember is that our own listings do not agree with each other: search Vauxhall for B-G and MOMO, search Opel for OMP.
If you are not sure which part fits, or the model on your car is not on the list, drop us a line with the registration. I will confirm the right kit before you order anything.
