The 2016-to-2024 Camaro SS is the one Chevrolet that trips people up when ordering coilovers. BC Racing lists two separate kits for it: one for cars fitted with Magnetic Ride Control and one for cars without. They are not interchangeable, and the listing titles make it obvious once you know what to look for. It catches buyers off guard when they are used to searching by year and model only.
Beyond the SS, the range covers 21 fitments across 17 models. Five BC series are represented: BR as the base across everything, RM alongside it on the Camaro SS variants and the FWD platform models, ER and ZX on the Corvette C5/C6 and fifth-generation Camaro, and V1 on the Optra. Which BC series fits your Chevrolet
BR covers all 21 fitments. RM comes in alongside it on six models: the two Camaro SS variants, the Bolt EV, the Volt, the Cavalier and the Cobalt. ER and ZX are available on three models only – the C5/C6 Corvette and the 2009-to-2013 and 2013-to-2015 Camaro. Those three are also the only fitments where BR, ER and ZX are all available on the same car.
V1 covers the Optra only.

What to check before you order
Three things come up on this range.
The Camaro SS split is the most common source of confusion. The 2016-to-2024 Gen 6 SS came with Magnetic Ride Control as either standard or an option depending on the trim, and BC Racing treats the two suspension architectures as separate kits. BCR-Q-24 is built for MRC cars. BCR-Q-17 is for cars on standard passive dampers. Check the build sheet before you order.
The Spark has three separate entries, all on what looks like the same M300 chassis code. BC Racing splits the Korean-market and US-market M300 variants because the strut dimensions differ between markets. The second-generation Spark runs the M400 chassis (2016-22, Korean market only). The chassis code in square brackets in the listing title is the one thing that tells you which entry is correct.
On the Corvette C5/C6, there is a standard listing and a Pillowball Bottom Mount Bush version. The Pillowball replaces the lower mount bush with a harder bearing, which suits a track-focused setup. If the car spends most of its time on the road, the standard fit is more comfortable day-to-day.
BC Racing coilovers for the Corvette and Camaro
The Corvette and Camaro are where the series choice opens up. The C5/C6 Corvette has BR, ER and ZX available, plus the separate Pillowball BR variant for the bottom mount. The C7 Stingray runs BR only. On the Camaro, the fifth-generation cars (2009-to-2015) have BR, ER and ZX. The 2016-to-2024 Camaro SS runs BR or RM depending on the MRC fitment – the two kits are separate listings, not series variants of the same kit.

BC Racing coilovers for the FWD range and electrics
The FWD and electric models are all on BR, with RM available alongside it on the Bolt EV and Volt. The Spark entries cover three separate market and generation combinations – the fitment table above shows which chassis code applies to which years.
Older Chevrolet fitments and the SS
The Chevrolet SS (2014-17, Zeta platform) is a BR-only fitment and a separate car from the Camaro SS. Garreth stocks it specifically for the handful of UK grey imports in circulation. The Cavalier and Cobalt both have BR and RM available. The Optra is on V1, the only V1 fitment in the Chevrolet range.
