BG8009, the B-G hub for the Chevrolet Sprint, is also the hub for six Suzuki models: the Alto, Carry, Cervo, Cultus, Fronte and Swift. That is not a coincidence, General Motors held a stake in Suzuki from 1981 to 2006 and badge-engineered several Suzuki models as Chevrolets and Geos, the Sprint among them. The Geo Metro in this same catalogue is the same story from the other side, a rebadged Suzuki Swift/Cultus sold under GM’s short-lived Geo brand.

An aftermarket wheel will not bolt onto a Chevrolet column on its own. The boss kit bridges the two, machined to match the spline count and column depth of your specific model and year. The table below is grouped by part number so you can see which listings cross into Suzuki, Jeep and Pontiac.

Green rows share a part code with Suzuki, Jeep or Pontiac models not listed in this guide.
Three older MOMO listings, the Corvette (1969-1982), Camaro and Blazer, are older-format listings with no clean modern equivalent. They are genuine, currently sold parts. BG8008 is the widest-reaching part in this guide, covering eight Chevrolet models on its own plus a run of Jeep and Pontiac fitments from the same era of GM full-size column design.
Fitting a steering wheel hub
So how does a Sparco wheel end up on a B-G hub? Because nearly every aftermarket motorsport wheel is drilled to the same bolt pattern, six bolts on a 70mm circle, written as 6 x 70mm PCD. MOMO, Sparco, OMP and the Mountney M-Range all use it. The hub is chosen by the car, the wheel is chosen by you, and the two brands never have to match.

How each brand drills its hubs
The B-G Racing hubs
Seventeen B-G hubs, all solid non-collapsible and dual drilled for 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm. BG8008 alone covers eight models, the Astrovan, Blazer, Camaro, Cavalier, Celebrity, Corvette (1969-1982), El Camino and both GMC Pick-Up and Jimmi variants, and also fits a run of Jeep and Pontiac models. BG8009, the Sprint hub, also fits six Suzuki models.
The MOMO and OMP hubs
Six hubs across MOMO and OMP. MOMO cover the full-size truck range plus the Corvette, Camaro and Blazer in older-format listings noted above. OMP list the Sprint and the Geo Metro, GM’s rebadged Suzuki Swift.

A quick release sits between the hub and the wheel and lets you pull the wheel off the column in one action. On a track-prepared Camaro or Corvette that is useful for access and security. On a stripped interior it makes getting over the sill easier when the wheel is not fighting you.
All four take the same 6 x 70mm pattern as the boss kits on this page, so whichever hub you choose will work with any of these.

Pair your boss kit with a high performance steering wheel
Once the hub is sorted the wheel is your choice. The Camaro and Corvette suit a smaller diameter, deeper dish wheel, while the Sprint and Metro take any of our standard sizes. These are the ones I would look at first.

Every wheel we sell is drilled 6 x 70mm, so any of them will bolt to any of the hubs above. The real decision is diameter and dish, which changes how heavy the steering feels and how close the rim sits to your chest.
Final thoughts
Chevrolet is a good example of how far GM’s badge-engineering reached: a Chevrolet Sprint boss kit is, mechanically, a Suzuki Swift boss kit, and the same full-size column turns up on Jeeps and Pontiacs of the same era.
