Motorsport calendar, December 2024
The 2025 UK motorsport calendar is taking shape, and there is something on almost every weekend from spring to autumn: Formula 1 at Silverstone, the BTCC and British GT on the national circuits, the British Rally Championship on gravel and asphalt, and the big historic and festival weekends at Goodwood and Silverstone.
We have put the key dates announced so far into one place. Calendars do change, and some of these were published as provisional, so check with the organiser before you book travel or tickets.

What is on this page
The headline: the British Grand Prix
The biggest weekend of the UK season is the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, from 4 to 6 July 2025, with the race on the Sunday. It is also a busy weekend for the support series, so there is racing to watch across all three days.
Silverstone hosts the Silverstone Festival, formerly the Silverstone Classic, over the August bank holiday weekend, 22 to 24 August, with historic racing and a large car show alongside.
The BTCC calendar
The British Touring Car Championship keeps the same ten venues as 2024, with three races at every event. Donington Park opens the season and Brands Hatch GP decides the title.

The British GT calendar
British GT runs longer races with two drivers sharing each car. The provisional 2025 calendar has seven rounds, including a trip to Spa in Belgium, with Donington Park hosting both the opener and the finale.

Rallying and hillclimbs
The British Rally Championship has six rounds, all on the UK mainland, split evenly between asphalt and gravel.

Hillclimbs are some of the best value days out in UK motorsport, with cars running one at a time against the clock up narrow, twisty courses such as Prescott, Shelsley Walsh and Harewood. The British Hillclimb Championship and the many club hillclimbs run from spring into the autumn; check each venue's own calendar for 2025 dates.
Goodwood and the historic weekends
Goodwood’s three big events are set for 2025. The Members’ Meeting is on the weekend of 12 April, the Festival of Speed runs from 10 to 13 July, and the Revival is from 12 to 14 September. Goodwood says the 2025 Revival will be the first historic race meeting to run all its races on sustainable fuel.
Below the headline events, clubs such as the 750 Motor Club, BRSCC, BARC and the HSCC run race meetings at circuits all over the country almost every weekend of the season. They are the best way to see close racing up close, and the best way in if you want to race yourself.
Getting ready to compete
If you are racing in 2025, the winter is the time to check your kit. Helmets, suits, seats and harnesses all carry approvals, and several have dates on the label.
