A replacement chin pad for the Stilo ST6R rally helmet, part number YA0933.
The chin pad on a competition helmet takes wear from ventilation, perspiration and the compression of regular use. When it loses its shape, the helmet fits differently: a gap can develop at the chin bar that lets in more noise than the original pad prevented, or the looser fit becomes distracting when you need to concentrate on a long stage. Replacing the pad directly restores the original contact and seal.
This pad is specific to the ST6R rally version. The ST6R has a different chin bar profile to the ST6R GT and the standard ST6 range, so the pad shape differs between models. If your helmet is an ST6R GT or a standard ST6 GT, the correct pad is YA0904, not this one. The two part numbers cover the same two variants consistently across the full replacement pad range.
The replacement fits the existing chin bar fixing points directly. No tools or adhesive are required beyond the fixings already there. At £22, replacing the chin pad is a straightforward maintenance step for a helmet that is otherwise in good condition.
