A flame-retardant Nomex skirt for the Stilo WRX Raid and WRX Dirt helmets, part number YA0929.

WRX Rally and Dakar-style rally raid creates a lot of dust and fine sand getting into the gap between the helmet chin bar and the fireproof balaclava underneath. The WRX Helmet Skirt closes that gap with a Nomex-lined piece shaped to the WRX chin bar geometry, blocking particles from reaching the driver’s face during a stage without restricting neck movement.

The design was developed with input from Dakar Rally Raid drivers, so it reflects what actually happens in the competition environment rather than what laboratory testing covers. SFI 3.3/5 approval means it meets the fire safety standard for competition use, not just the fire resistance of the Nomex material itself.

This fits the WRX Raid and WRX Dirt helmets specifically. It will not fit the ST5, ST6 or Trophy helmet lines, and the chin bar geometry differs from the WRX Rally helmet, so compatibility is specific to the two helmets named. Check your exact model before ordering.

Sold as a single skirt. Helmet is not included.
