A replacement central vent for Sparco RF and KF helmets. Part number SPA00315K03.
The top vent is the part of a helmet most likely to get broken, because it sits proud of the shell and it is what catches when the helmet goes down on a bench or into a bag badly. Once it is cracked or the slider has snapped, the vent no longer shuts, and a vent stuck open is a nuisance in the rain.
Replacing it is a great deal cheaper than replacing the helmet, and it is a job you can do yourself.
What it fits
Sparco RF and KF helmets, which covers most of their full face range across both car and karting models. Check the model of your helmet before ordering, because helmet parts are not interchangeable between shells and a vent that nearly fits is no use.
Matt black.
While you are at it
If the helmet is old enough for the vent to have broken, it is worth looking at the cheek pads and the liner as well. Padding compresses over a couple of seasons and a helmet that has gone loose does less than it should in an impact. Replacing the pads brings the fit back and costs a fraction of a new lid.
Tell us the helmet model and we will confirm the part before it ships.
