The BGR730 is a 15mm spacer for three-bolt steering wheels with a 3×50.8mm PCD, with one difference from a standard spacer: the mounting face is set 10mm off the column axis rather than concentric with it. When fitted, the wheel moves 15mm away from the column and 10mm to one side.
That offset serves two practical purposes. The first is clearance around an instrument cluster. On some cars the column sits directly in front of gauges, and the standard wheel position partially obscures them. A small sideways shift can bring them into view. The second is driver clearance in a competition car with a fixed seat: if the seat position pushes the driver’s legs further forward, the wheel can end up uncomfortably close to the thigh, and 10mm of sideways movement can be enough to resolve it.
