These Bell HP7 Side Air Intakes are a set of two lateral intake scoops, available in clear and carbon. They fit the HP7 Carbon only, accessing the lateral ventilation channels on either side of the chin bar. Unlike the top intakes, which are shared across the wider 7-Series platform, the side intakes are specific to the HP7’s shell geometry.
The HP7 has 12 air intake and extraction channels in total, spread across the top and sides of the shell and through the chin bar. With the side intakes fitted, air enters at the lateral channels and moves through the padding towards the rear extraction. The effect is a cross-flow rather than the top-to-back flow of the top intakes alone, which tends to be more effective at cooling the sides and cheeks.
Clear suits any shell colour. Carbon is matched to the HP7’s exposed carbon weave. For the companion extraction side, the Bell HP7 Side Air Extractors (BEL2060043) fit the same HP7 shell on the opposite lateral channels. The 7-Series Top Air Intakes are the separate top-mounted option for the same helmet if you want to combine all three intake types. If you are unsure whether the HP7 side intakes, top intakes or the forced-air 8-hole system is the right solution for your circuit, call us and describe your use case.
