This is the official Bell replacement peak for the Mag-1 helmet (part number BEL2040001). The Mag-1 peak is removable by design: the attachment is a friction clip at the peak mounting points on the shell, allowing the driver to remove the peak for indoor karting or circuits where it is not needed. The peak also takes the brunt of any abrasion when a helmet is set down front-first, which is the most common cause of peak wear or damage in daily use.

This is a straight OEM replacement; the peak is the same unit supplied with the Mag-1 at manufacture. It includes the antiglare sunscreen strip along the inner lower edge of the peak, which is the standard Mag-1 configuration. The Mag-1 Offshore variant (SKU 1426A7) uses the same peak design in the same configuration, so this replacement fits both the standard Mag-1 (white) and the Offshore (fluorescent orange) versions of the helmet.

If your Mag-1 peak has cracked, been lost or the sunscreen strip has separated, this is the replacement. Ask us if you are unsure whether the part fits your specific Mag-1 variant before ordering.
