Not a racewear bag

Worth being clear. This is a day bag, not a kit bag. It will not take a helmet or a suit, and if that is what you need, look at the trolley bags instead.

What it is for is everything else you carry to a meeting: a laptop or tablet, paperwork, a drinks bottle, a jacket, the things that otherwise end up loose in the car.

The useful details

A padded compartment for a notebook or tablet, which is what separates it from a generic rucksack, and a quick access upper pocket for the things you need without taking the bag off.

External side pocket for a bottle. Double closure zip that takes a padlock.

Who buys one

Team personnel, engineers and anyone who is at a circuit working rather than driving. Also perfectly good as an ordinary bag if you want the branding.

Twenty litres is a day bag rather than a weekend one.

Will a full race kit fit?
It swallows the soft kit comfortably: suit, underwear, gloves, and boots. Helmets are better in their own padded bag, which also stops the visor getting scratched in transit.

Is it worth a dedicated kit bag over a normal holdall?
The difference is compartments and padding in the right places: wet and dry separation, boot pockets that keep tarmac dust off your suit, and padded sections where they matter. A normal holdall works until the first time a buckle rubs a hole in fireproof fabric.

How do I look after it?
Brush it out and wipe it down rather than machine washing, and let it dry open after a wet weekend. Zips last longest if you close them before storage.

What we hold in the showroom can leave the next working day. The rest arrives on our regular imports from OMP in Italy, normally inside a couple of weeks.
