What is in this one

First-S race suit in sizes 52, 54, 56 and 58. First race boots in UK8 to UK10.5, which is EU42 to EU45. First-S racing gloves in M.

The same bundle as the small and the large. Identical kit, different size band.

The band most people land in

This covers the middle of the range, which is where racewear sizing is most predictable and where most first time buyers end up. If you are somewhere near average height and build, start here.

The one thing worth measuring rather than guessing is the inside leg. Suit sizes step in chest measurement, so two people with the same chest can need quite different leg lengths, and a suit that is short in the leg pulls at the shoulders every time you get in the car.

FIA and SFI together

Suit, boots and gloves are all FIA 8856-2018, so the set satisfies scrutineering together rather than leaving you to discover one item is wrong on the morning.

All three also carry SFI: the suit to SFI 3.2A/5 and the boots and gloves to SFI 3.3/5, so the set is good under American regulations too.

You still need underwear, a balaclava and socks to the same standard, plus a helmet. Ask us and we will finish the set off.

Can I mix sizes across the items?
Yes. Each part of the bundle is picked in its own size when you order, so a large suit with medium gloves and size 44 boots is no problem. If any combination shows as unavailable, ask us and we will sort it.

Is everything in the bundle homologated?
Each item carries its own approval, shown in the specification above, and it is the individual labels a scrutineer checks, exactly as if you had bought the pieces separately. If your championship has specific requirements, tell us which series you run in and we will confirm the whole bundle passes.

Can I swap an item in the package?
Usually, yes. If you want a different colour, model, or spec for one of the pieces, get in touch before ordering and we will quote the bundle with the swap, so you keep the package saving where we can give it.

Is a bundle the right way to buy my first kit?

What we hold in the showroom can leave the next working day. The rest arrives on our regular imports from OMP in Italy, normally inside a couple of weeks.
