A Nomex leg pocket for co-drivers carrying pace notes, time cards, pens or a phone during a stage or session. The pocket attaches to the thigh of a race suit via two Velcro straps, which wrap around the leg without threading through the suit material, making it possible to fit and remove between stages without taking the suit off.
The pocket is sized for a co-driver’s essentials: pace notes, two or three cards and a pen, or a phone. The capacity is stage-specific rather than general-purpose storage.
The Nomex construction matches the fire rating of the suit it attaches to. A non-fire-rated pocket creates a gap in the protection at the leg, which matters in any car with fire suppression and FIA suits. The Nomex throughout keeps the protective layer continuous.
Attachment is Velcro-only. No stitching to the suit, no anchor straps sewn into the suit fabric. The pocket fits any race suit leg that the straps can reach around. In a tight cockpit where pace notes need to be immediately accessible, a thigh-mounted pocket removes the need to look down into a footwell or turn across to a centre console holder.
