Neoprene overshoes that go on over your race or karting shoes. Part number 002445. The job they do is simple: protect the shoe underneath from paddock grime, oil, and wet ground, and keep your feet warm between sessions or during a cold pre-grid wait. The neoprene is flexible enough that you can drive in them if you need to, the rubber sole gives enough grip for paddock walking, and a wide Velcro flap across the front pulls them snug.
A note on sizing that weโve learned from selling these over the years: they run tight. Weโve tested them in store and recommend going one full size up from your normal shoe size. If you normally wear a UK 8, order the EU 43 (UK 9 equivalent). They should be a firm fit but not so tight that pulling them on takes effort.
Sizes cover UK 3 (EU 35) through to UK 13 (EU 48), which reaches from junior karters through to large-footed adults. Thereโs no half-size gap in this range, so the size-up recommendation really matters at the boundaries.
These suit karters, marshals, mechanics, and track day drivers who want to keep their race footwear in reasonable shape off the car. Theyโre not a substitute for approved race footwear on track, but as paddock protection they last well through a full season of use. The neoprene holds up to the usual punishment of a grassfield paddock better than a cheaper PVC or vinyl alternative would.
