The rotor lacing system

Instead of threading laces you tighten a rotating dial that distributes pressure evenly across the boot. Faster to fasten and more consistent fit session to session than traditional laces. OMP developed the same system for the One Evo X R race boot and brought it across to this kart boot.

Construction

Perforated microfibre upper for airflow. Ultra-thin sole designed specifically for kart pedal feel: on a kart with no servo assistance, sole thickness directly affects how precisely you can feel pedal travel and braking bite. A thinner sole gives more accurate feedback. Rear ankle bellows for movement. Anti-abrasion protection at the toe, where kart boots wear through first.

Sizing and colours

Available in black and in anthracite, silver and yellow. Sizes EU 40 to 47.

What size should I order?
Sizes run from UK 6.5 | EU 40 up to UK 12 | EU 47. Kart boots fit close like race boots, so most drivers take their normal trainer size. If you are between sizes or wear a wide fit, ask us before ordering.

Are they legal for competition karting?
These boots are homologated to FIA 8877-2022, the current FIA karting standard, which is what scrutineers look for in championship karting.

Why the thin sole and high ankle?
The thin sole gives you pedal feel, and the high cut protects and supports the ankle, which sits exposed next to the bodywork in a kart. It is also why kart boots make poor walking shoes, so keep them for driving.
