At £182, they are the most technically specified option in the range and use a seamless knitted fire-retardant upper construction that is distinct from any other boot in the Alpinestars karting lineup.
The seamless knitted upper is manufactured as a single piece that wraps the foot without any stitched seam lines on the contact surface. This is relevant in a karting boot because seams create localised stiffness that concentrates pressure when the foot is pressed firmly against a pedal, and in high-frequency environments such as lap-after-lap braking, that localised pressure contributes to fatigue. The seamless construction adapts to the shape of each individual foot without the break-in period that a leather or synthetic upper requires, fitting immediately and consistently rather than conforming over several sessions.
The knit material is fire-retardant throughout, meeting the FIA 8877-2022 material requirements without a separate inner lining. An outer protective structure at the toe, heel, and ankle provides rigidity where it supports the foot and flexibility where it needs to allow movement. The sole is thin and flexible across the forefoot for pedal sensitivity while the heel maintains enough structure for stable braking.
