This boot has been engineered to be compliant with the latest FIA 8877-2022 approval assuring maximum protection whilst competing. Despite being highly protective, these boots have retained what made the previous models so popular, being lightweight, breathable, and providing high levels of comfort. The Tech 1-KX V3 is the first kart boot from Alpinestars to meet the latest FIA 8877-2022 approval for kart wear. The upper part of the boot is constructed using lightweight PU and textile materials, keeping the weight of the boot minimal, with a one-piece heel and insole, designed to to improve heel lockdown for increased levels of control and comfort while driving. Inspired by the boots used in F1, Alpinestars has implemented a thin rubber sole designed to provide unrivalled levels of grip and sensitivity, ensuring you always feel in complete control of the pedals.
