An open face helmet to ECE 22-06, in Sparco Advanced Thermo Material composite shell. ECE 22-06 is the current road and track standard, and it replaced 22-05 with harder testing including rotational impact, so a 22-06 lid is a genuinely newer specification rather than a relabelled one.
Open face, and what that means
An open face helmet leaves your chin and mouth exposed. For karting that is not acceptable and a full face is required. For track days and club events in a car it usually is acceptable, provided you also have eye protection, and plenty of people prefer it for the visibility and the airflow. Check your organiser’s regulations before you rely on it, because they vary.
There are no head and neck restraint posts fitted and none supplied, so this is not a lid to pair with a HANS.
The Martini livery
Light blue, white, red and navy in the Martini Racing stripes, which is why most people are on this page. It is the same helmet as the plain J-Pro underneath.
Sizes run S at 55 to 56cm through to XXL at 62cm, with L at 60cm and XL at 61cm.
Measure round your head just above the eyebrows before ordering rather than guessing from a hat size. If you are between sizes, tell us and we will talk it through, because a loose helmet is worse than an uncomfortable one.

How do I get the right size?
Measure around your head at the widest point, about an inch above your eyebrows, and match the centimetres to the size options (this one runs from roughly 55cm to 62cm). The fit should be snug all round with no pressure points, and it should not rotate when you shake your head. Between sizes, try the smaller one first, as linings bed in. Can I use it for track days?
Yes. It carries ECE 22-06 approval, the road motorcycle standard, which UK track day organisers accept. What it is not valid for is Motorsport UK competition, which needs a helmet from the FIA and Snell list. If you are heading towards racing, buy once from our motorsport helmet range instead. How do I look after it?
Store it in its bag away from heat and direct sun, clean the shell with mild soap and water only (solvents attack the finish and the shell), and let the lining air out after use. And the big one: after any significant impact, replace the helmet even if it looks fine, as the protective liner is designed to crush once.
