Made from recycled materials, and at this money it is the cheapest useful thing you can add to a suit order. Most of the damage a race suit takes happens in storage rather than in the car: folded in a holdall with boots on top of it, a suit picks up creases that never quite come out and holds whatever the rest of the bag smells of.

Where it earns its place
Hung on an awning pole or the back of a garage door in the paddock, it keeps the suit off the floor, which matters when the floor is wet. At home it keeps it out of anywhere damp. In the car it means the suit is not the thing you unpack last and try to iron first.
Looking after a suit
Worth saying while you are here. A flame retardant suit loses some of its protection if it is washed with the wrong things or dried on a radiator, so read the label rather than treating it as ordinary clothing. Hanging it rather than folding it is the single easiest thing you can do to make it last.
