The RW-4 bundle brings together Sparco’s RW-4 balaclava, long-sleeve top, and long johns in a single purchase. All three carry FIA 8856-2018 approval. White only.
The RW-4 is built from soft-touch flame-retardant Nomex with a relaxed fit. Relaxed cut means it layers well under a race suit without bunching at the elbows or behind the knees, which matters on longer events. Getting it on and off between stints is also easier than the tighter-cut performance underwear ranges.
The balaclava is one-size. Top and long johns run S through to XXL.
For a first-time buyer putting together FIA-compliant racewear without overspending, the RW-4 bundle works well. The closest comparison is the OMP First bundle at £145, which uses a different Nomex knit construction at a similar level. Both meet FIA 8856-2018; the RW-4 costs a little more and uses Sparco’s interlock Nomex, which some drivers find softer against the skin. If you have worn both, you will have a preference; if this is your first set, either works and the difference will matter less than fit.

Can I mix sizes across the items?
Yes. Each part of the bundle is picked in its own size when you order, so a large suit with medium gloves and size 44 boots is no problem. If any combination shows as unavailable, ask us and we will sort it.
Is everything in the bundle homologated?
Each item carries its own approval, shown in the specification above, and it is the individual labels a scrutineer checks, exactly as if you had bought the pieces separately. If your championship has specific requirements, tell us which series you run in and we will confirm the whole bundle passes.
Can I swap an item in the package?
Usually, yes. If you want a different colour, model, or spec for one of the pieces, get in touch before ordering and we will quote the bundle with the swap, so you keep the package saving where we can give it.
Is a bundle the right way to buy my first kit?
