The ZeroNoise 6400010 is a 50 cm coiled lead with a male 4-pin Nexus plug at one end and a 3.5 mm stereo jack at the other.

The male Nexus plug goes into a female Nexus socket, such as the one on a Bell rally intercom helmet, and the jack goes to a phone or other 3.5 mm device. It is the lead for using a Nexus helmet with a phone or a 3.5 mm audio source.

For a helmet kit or headset with a male Nexus plug, the 6400011 female Nexus to 3.5 mm lead is the matching version. The 3.5 mm jack does not fit the 6.35 mm sockets on the Valiant amplifier.

What does this lead join?
A female Nexus socket to a 3.5 mm device such as a phone. The male Nexus end plugs into a female socket, for example a Bell helmet. For a male Nexus plug, the 6400011 is the version you need.

My intercom crackles or cuts out. Is a new lead the fix?
Often, yes. Leads live a hard life being trodden on and trapped in doors, and a damaged lead is the most common cause of noise or dropouts. If a replacement does not cure it, talk to us before replacing the amplifier, as it may be a connector or helmet-kit fault instead.
