Sparco Club X1 Carbon Helmets On Display In The Showroom

Four Sparco Club X1 Carbon helmets have gone on display in our showroom, one each in small, medium, large and extra large, so they can be tried on before buying. The carbon-look finish looked very smart when we unboxed them.
We have also added the Club X1 silver mirror visor to the online listing as an option. The Club X1 is a track day and karting helmet, not an FIA one, so here is what it is for and where it fits among the rest of our Sparco helmets.

What is on this page
The Club X1 Carbon on display
We have one Club X1 Carbon in each of small, medium, large and extra large in the showroom. Sizes either side of those, from extra small up to double extra large, are on the website.
The finish is the thing people notice first. The shell is Sparco's Advanced Thermo Material, a composite, with a carbon-look finish over it, so it has the appearance of carbon without the price of a carbon fibre shell.
The listing now has the Club X1 silver mirror visor as an option you can add when ordering. The standard visor is clear; the mirror one cuts glare on bright days and outdoors.
What the Club X1 is for
The Club X1 is ECE approved, not FIA approved. That makes it right for track days, fast road use and events that do not ask for a fire resistant helmet, and not suitable for FIA homologated motorsport events. It is a full face helmet and can be used in open or closed cockpits.
It is well ventilated for the money, with vents at the chin, the brow and the top of the head, and the lining can be taken out and washed.
There is also a standard Club X1 without the carbon-look finish, in black or white, which costs less and has the same ECE approval. Garreth’s advice is simple: check what your event asks for before choosing a helmet. If the regulations mention FIA, the Club X1 is not the one. The rest of our Sparco helmets for 2022
We have recently updated all our Sparco helmet listings with the 2022 information: approvals, prices, sizes and colours, plus the new models for the season. The range covers open and closed face helmets, some approved for road and track use, others FIA homologated for competition, with sizes running from extra small up to triple extra large depending on the model.
At the top end is carbon fibre, such as the Prime RF-10W Supercarbon. In the showroom we have both open and closed face Sparco helmets carrying current FIA approvals, including the full face Air Pro RF-5W and the open face RJ. The RJ has a composite shell reinforced with carbon-Kevlar, a removable lining and provision for a microphone boom, and it comes in seven sizes including a medium-large.
Each Sparco helmet listing also offers bundle items at the checkout that suit that helmet, such as HANS devices and balaclavas.
Is the Sparco Club X1 Carbon FIA approved?
No. It is ECE approved, which suits track days and fast road use but not FIA homologated events.
Is the Club X1 Carbon shell made of carbon fibre?
The shell is Sparco’s ATM composite with a carbon-look finish, not a woven carbon fibre shell.
What sizes did we have on display?
In December 2022 we had one each in small, medium, large and extra large in the showroom, with other sizes available online.
Can the Club X1 take a tinted visor?
Yes. The silver mirror visor made for the Club X1 and Club X1 Carbon can be added as an option on the listing.
