Sparco Racing Underwear Updated For 2024: RW-4 In Store And The Full Range Online

We have updated our whole Sparco racing underwear range for 2024, with current information and the FIA approval of every item. There are now 27 options in the collection, covering long and short sleeve tops, bottoms and balaclavas across several Sparco ranges.
We have also taken a large delivery of Sparco's RW-4 range for the showroom, so the displays are full of RW-4 long sleeve tops, bottoms and balaclavas in a wide spread of sizes.

What we have updated
Every Sparco underwear listing now shows its current FIA approval, so you can check it against your championship’s rules before you order. The 27 options cover long sleeve tops, short sleeve tops, long johns, shorts and balaclavas, split across Sparco’s ranges.
All of them use soft touch, flame retardant fabric that draws sweat away from the skin. Race underwear sits directly against you under the suit, so comfort matters, but its first job is heat and flame protection. Our guide to FIA fireproof underwear explains what you need under a race suit.
Sparco RW-4 in the showroom
The RW-4 is the range we keep on the display. It has a more relaxed cut than Sparco's close fitting ranges, which makes it comfortable for a regular build and easy to get on and off between sessions. The seams are flat and the fabric is light.
The recent delivery means we have RW-4 bottoms, long sleeve tops and balaclavas in many sizes on the shelves, so you can see the fabric and check the size in person.

The other Sparco underwear ranges
RW-11 Evo. The top of Sparco’s range and the newest. The fabric is very light, and it is approved to both FIA 8856-2018 and SFI 3.3.
RW-7. Treated with Sparco’s X-Cool silver finish, which gives a cooling feel on the skin and has an anti-bacterial effect that cuts down odour without affecting protection. It is knitted with no side seams and different levels of stretch in different areas, for a close fit.
RW-10 Shield Pro. Knitted with no seams at all, which removes pressure points, for a close fit and less fatigue over a long day.
Garreth’s advice is that the right range depends on how you race. For a few events a season, the RW-4 does the job comfortably. If you race long stints in hot weather, the lighter, closer fitting ranges are worth the difference.
Underwear bundles
We have also put together racing underwear bundles of a long sleeve top, bottoms and a balaclava, made up from the kit we keep in the showroom. Alongside the Sparco RW-4 bundle there are sets from OMP and Alpinestars, which makes it a quick way to get the whole base layer sorted for the 2024 season.
