The Complete B-G and MOMO Lancia Steering Wheel Hub Guide
Lancia is the opposite of most makes we write about. I am Cameron, I look after the steering wheel side of things at GSM Performance, and where Porsche is almost entirely MOMO, Lancia is almost entirely B-G: thirty two B-G hubs against five from MOMO.
Two things are worth knowing before you search. The first is a lovely bit of trivia that is also useful: BG8026 is one hub, and it covers the Stratos, the 037 and the Montecarlo. Three of the great rally Lancias, one part number.
The second will save you an email. If you own a Delta, MOMO file their hub under Lancia-Autobianchi rather than Lancia, so a search for Lancia Delta will not find it. MK5508 covers the 1984 to 1993 car, Integrale years included, and it is in the MOMO section below.
The in-car photograph in this guide is an AI illustration, generated from our own MOMO product photography so the wheel and its horn button are the real thing.
Why you need a B-G or MOMO boss kit
An aftermarket wheel will not bolt onto a Lancia column on its own. The column has splines, the back of the wheel has a bolt pattern, and the boss kit is the part that joins the two. It also sets how far the wheel sits from the dash, which on the older cars makes a real difference to how upright you end up sitting.
Both brands machine theirs from cast aluminium and put the fixing screws, the Allen key and the horn button retaining ring in the box, so nothing is missing halfway through the job. The B-G kits are made in Italy and drilled twice, for 6 x 70mm and 6 x 74mm. The MOMO kits are drilled 6 x 70mm.
It joins two different fittings
Your column has splines. The back of the wheel has a bolt pattern. The hub is the only part that speaks both.
It sets how far the wheel sits
The hub decides the distance from the dash, which changes your reach to the indicator stalks and the clearance over your knees.
Nothing else to buy
The fixing screws, the Allen key and the horn button retaining ring are all in the box, so nothing stops you halfway through the job.
Lancia hubs repeat more than almost any make we stock, which is good news if your car looks unlisted. BG8314 alone covers the Appia MK2 and MK3, the Aprilia MK5, the Aurelia B and the Aurelia B22, so five 1950s Lancias share one part. BG8316 does the Berlina MK2, the 1971 onward Flavia and the 1971 onward Fulvia. BG8317 covers the Beta Berlina, the pre-1976 Gamma and the Trevi, and BG8318 takes over for the Beta MK3, the pre-1984 Delta and the 1977 onward Gamma.
Two Delta listings both read Pre-1984 but are different parts, BG8177 and BG8318, so open both before you choose. The Integrale from 1988 to 1993 has its own hub, BG8374.
Steering wheel installation explained
So how does a Sparco wheel end up on a MOMO hub? Because nearly every aftermarket motorsport wheel is drilled to the same pattern, six bolts on a 70mm circle, written as 6 x 70mm PCD. MOMO, Sparco, OMP, Simoni Racing and the Mountney M-Range all use it. The hub is chosen by your car, the wheel is chosen by you, and nothing locks you into one brand.

How each brand drills its hubs
The Lancia B-G boss kit range
Thirty two B-G Lancia hubs, running from the 1952 Aurelia through to the 2012 Musa. Nearly all sit at the same money, with the Lancia K as the one exception at a higher price.
BG8026 is the famous one, covering the Stratos, the 037 and the Montecarlo. BG8225 does the Musa and the Ypsilon, BG8315 covers the pre-1970 Berlina and Flavia, and the Y10 splits at 1993 between BG8068 and BG8067. All thirty two are dual drilled.
Our top MOMO Lancia boss kit collection
Five MOMO Lancia hubs, all collapsible and all drilled 6 x 70mm. Three of them are the ones filed under Lancia-Autobianchi, which is MOMO keeping the old company name rather than anything to do with the car you own.
MK5508 is the 1984 to 1993 Delta, MA4029 is the Dedra 835 from 1989 to 1999, and MK5009 is the pre-1991 Y10. MK4035R covers both the Libra and the Y.

The links here run a live search across the store, so they stay current as the range moves. OMP are worth a look on a Delta in particular: they list three Delta hubs across different years, plus the Thema from 1984 to 1991 and the Y10 from 1985 to 1991. Those are a solid, non-collapsible design, which is what most track and competition cars run. Remember to search Lancia-Autobianchi as well as Lancia, or you will miss three of the five MOMO parts. If your car is not showing up at all, ask, because the older Lancias share hubs across models far more than the listings suggest.

A quick release sits between the boss kit and the wheel and lets you pull the wheel off the column in a second. Two reasons people fit them. Getting in and out past a fixed wheel in a caged car is awkward, and a wheel that comes off with you is a wheel nobody can drive away with.
B-G Racing do four. The universal and the standard bolt-on versions suit most road and track cars and need nothing modifying. The weld-on 3-point and 6-point are for a car where the column is being cut and welded anyway. All four take the same 6 x 70mm wheels as everything else on this page.

Pair your boss kit with a high performance steering wheel
Once the hub is sorted the wheel is entirely your choice. These are the ones I would put in a Lancia, and the range covers both ends of what these cars want.
In a Delta or an Integrale the MOMO Competition or the OMP WRC look right and give you a rim you can hold properly with gloves on. In an Aurelia, a Fulvia or an Appia go the other way entirely: the Prototipo Heritage or the Mod.07 Heritage Wood suit those cars far better than anything modern.

Every wheel we sell is drilled 6 x 70mm, so any of them will bolt to any of the hubs above. The only real decision is diameter and dish, which changes how heavy the steering feels and how close the rim sits to your chest.
Final thoughts
Lancia is one of the better covered makes we hold, as long as you remember it is a B-G range first and that MOMO hide three of their five parts under the Lancia-Autobianchi name. The hub is cheap next to the wheel, and getting it right is a case of matching the model and the year in the listing to your own car.
If you are stuck between two listings, and the two Pre-1984 Delta hubs do catch people out, drop us a line and ask for me. Send the registration over and I will tell you which one you need before you spend anything.
